Trumpington Meadows will have its own primary school, and there are several secondary state schools in the area, including St Bede's Inter-Church School, The Manor (a foundation school with a performing arts specialism), Chesterton Community College and a number of village colleges. State provision in the further education sector includes Hills Road Sixth Form College, Long Road Sixth Form College and Cambridge Regional College.
