In February 2010 Barratts signed a deal with Trumpington Meadows to deliver the first 350 homes to the north of the site.

Recognising the importance of the wildlife and ecological aspects of the site, the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Wildlife Trust have been brought on to advise and manage the extensive country park and farm land.
